The gray heron with the turtle was made as stained glass for the living room of a lake house in Venice. It is always very challenging to solder thin glass surfaces – e.g. gray heron legs – because the glass here is very thin, which makes it very sensitive and can break extra easily during soldering. It looked amazing in the setting sun.
